I wanted a universal water proof boot protection liner from stock for my new car. I needed it next day, which happen to be Saturday. Nobody would help, despite my offer to pay any reasonable extra over courier fee. I saw World of Camping had what I was looking for. I telephoned them and the owner took my call. He told me (and I am paraphrasing a bit) "If you order it before 1pm, I will despatch it today. We have a next day Saturday delivery option, but unfortunately we have had isolated incidents where the couriers have not made the delivery on time on this delivery option. I could just take your money, but I prefer to be honest, because I don't want to let you down." How refreshing for a company to take the time to be upfront and honest with their customers and manage their expectations. I was made fully aware of the costs and the fact that World of Camping cannot indemnify shipping services provided third party suppliers. This is a fact for all businesses who ship goods. All they can do is monitor the performance of their couriers and move to another when one lets your customers down once too often. Anyways, I placed the order, paid for the next day Saturday shipping and DHL woke me up at 8:00am on Saturday morning!! Fair dinkum!!!
