Purchases their ASTA A-SD1001 spring compressor which broke down on the first use. Replaced the first coil spring but when I tried to replace the second the clip mechanism fell out discharging the ball bearings. Lucky no one was hurt. Contacted customer support and they accepted a return but only provide half the purchase price claiming the item had been used and could not be resold for full price due to scratches on the shaft. Then they claimed the item was working fine after their mechanic managed to repair the product. No mention of restocking charge at point of sale or at point of raising the return! They were arrogant and would not believe me so had to send pictures and evidence that I was not lying to them. I wasn’t after a refund and would have accepted a replacement. However they claimed I had not used their product correctly which resulted in the clip failing out. They gave me excuse after excuses to avoid returning my money so in the end I got so fed up I raised a case with my card issuer and they mediated between us and this resulted in me getting my money back. Never again - avoid at all costs!!
