I placed an order online for a watch which was advertised in a national newspaper and received a confirmation email stating the watch will be delivered in 5-7 days.
2 weeks later - nothing so I decide to phone - *BE AWARE* - this company takes your contact details and sells them onto third companies when you phone - listen very carefully to the recorded message!!
Kasey (sales advisor) informed me the watch was not in stock, hadn't been in stock for a long time and is not likely to be in stock for the forseeable. I asked why I hadn't been made aware of this? Kasey stated "You should've phoned - we would've told you then." I explained it's easier for me to order online but she was adamant I should have phoned????
I told her I wanted to cancel the order and wanted written confirmation of the cancellation - "Oh Bradford Exchange don't do that - you'll just have to trust me." REALLY??? Are you getting the gist yet of the way this company works??
Anyway, I've emailed the head office complaints dept but doubt if they will respond...I'll just have to trust Kasey!
