I would seriously think twice about ordering something from the Bradford exchange.
I placed an order for a commemorative coin to surprise my husband. Customer service is nonexistent. I was provided a mystery tracking number with no carrier attached to it. I literally emailed customer service five times to ask them who their carrier is and where the product shipped from. Each time I asked, I received the same response “ please be advised your order has shipped. Here’s your tracking number.”
The transit time from the date they charged my credit card until the time it arrived was 14 days. On the 14th day, I saw a charge in the same dollar amount on my account. Pending. I logged into the account that I created and learned that I had subscribed to a series.
None of the emails I received from the Bradford exchange mentioned anything about a subscription. When I went digging in my account, I had to go to the FAQs, three levels down with the subscription verbiage. Very unethical. They won’t cancel the pending order because it’s in the queue to be shipped.
The customer service rep that I reached couldn’t tell me what that item shipping would be nor had it shipped so there was no tracking number. The item number associated with this pre-shipment doesn’t exist on their website.
Literally one day from the day I finally received the coin I ordered, I found out that I’d been bamboozled into a subscription. Sneaky sneaky, sneaky bad business people.
No problem in placing my original order. No mention of any series or subscription. No help from customer service. My husband loves the surprise I bought for him, but I didn’t sign up for any subscription. This is one of those fly by night, tricky, sneaky, dirty, greedy companies that never answers a question properly. Please don’t place an order. Please don’t provide your credit card number.
