I had a very positive experience researching and ordering apple trees from Chris Bowers. I wanted something a little different, old variety apple trees; one a cooker, the other an eater. They needed to be complimentary for pollination. Great advice on options. I didn't expect CB to have a call centre or to respond to my enquiry immediately, but they got back after a couple of days with reassuring advice which is fine. Young trees safely arrived last autumn and planted with good amount of well rotted alpaca manure. The following summer, both trees are doing well with good growth and plenty of foliage for young trees. Important to water well, particularly young trees trying to establish themselves. If they are what they purport to be, I will be very happy with first fruit in a couple of years time. Do remember to water your young trees regularly
