A couple of months back, my order of an apple tree on a dwarf rooting stock experienced a delivery problem with the courier (not an unheard of event in the NE of Scotland), and thus it arrived in a somewhat wilting condition. I planted it nonetheless, but when I received a follow-up email from the incomparable Gemma, I sent some photos of the little tree which was not doing well and, by return of post I received a replacement tree, which is strong, healthy and growing very well. Both times, the trees were very well packed, and the second one arrived in excellent condition. I am extremely happy with my purchase, had a very positive experience with Chris Bowers & Sons, and I would not hesitate to buy from them again.
