oh dear, oh dear, oh dear..........
i ordered nearly 6 weeks ago - it says on my account that the order has been fulfilled but i have not had a dispatch email and the company ignore my attempts to contact them so they can give me the relevant dispatch information.
they did however get back to me when i left a 1 star review (which i offered to review when my items were received), but sadly it was only to say that they will not be prioritizing my order as i left a 1 star review.
i finally managed to get through to the owner via email, and when i suggested a full refund if they are not able to fulfil the order i was threatened with account closure and 'fees' being charged before a refund was issued.
However Consumer Rights in the Uk dictate that i AM entitled to a FULL refund if the items are not received within the maximum timescale given at the time of purchase - in this case it is up to 1 month - as it is now nearly 6 weeks after my purchase i am not subject to 'fees' being charged if i need to cancel.
Under Section 75 of Consumer Protection i am entitled to (and have sadly now had to action) my credit card provider to get my money back.
The owner does not replay to messages most of the time, but when he does he is rude, threatening and really does not care that a paying customer is worried that their order has not been dispatched after 6 weeks of payment!
It's a real shame, and tremendously disappointing that this unprofessional and deeply unpleasant attitude is at the heart of this business.
do look at the companies terms and conditions as they refer to a lot of their customers (who dare to question where their items are) as bitter, and do also look at their trust piolet reviews also as when they reply they refer to trust piolet as a 'cess pit' of a company for allowing disgruntled customers to exercise their freedom of speech rights when they give accurate reviews of their disappointing experiences.
What a shame - i'm sure the owner will be along soon to leave a sarcastic comment about my experiences, but please be assured i am a genuine customer who has received an unpleasant and unprofessional experience with 'clearance xl'
