“Tricked” into a annual subscription which I had no idea about. Despite asking to deactivating my account and asking them not to bill me 2 days ahead of their subscription “anniversary” the amount of NZD 149.00 was taken anyway. Several emails later and standard responses, they will not action my request/demand. In addition I tried to remove my credit card information, which they have kept, but there is no way of doing that despite following their instructions. The whole scam is designed to make customers give up in despair. But I will not. They have taken my money fraudulently and I want it back. I was pleased to see in the NZ Stuff news today an article reporting the same scam with many other customers having been scammed as well. Stay away from Dick Smith/ Kogan.. you will regret it if you do.
