We had a two week gap in our schedules and decided to take a last minute vacation to an unfamiliar destination. The amount of planning it would have taken to line up all the tours and hotels, plus the domestic flights to northern Thailand and Phuket would have eaten into our vacation time. From the flower market of Bangkok, to the Elephant Sanctuary in the mountains of Chiang Mai, and Phi Phi Island at Phuket, Ha planned an itinerary that was comprehensive and covered what we were looking for, when we didn't have a firm idea of what we wanted to experience.
