Appalling company with appalling customer services - tried to sell an Apple Watch after receiving an online quote. After a lengthy delay having initially sent the watch in, I received an email saying the watch couldn't be bought as it was listed as a "demo device" by apple (despite having been bought directly from the Apple store and apple subsequently confirming there is no such marker on their devices as a demo device). Having challenged Handtec, they then changed the story and told me Apple had informed me the device had been marked as black listed as it was classed as stolen. I went directly into apple to have the serial number verified and they informed me that there is no such thing as device black listing and that my device was fine.
After again challenging Handtec, they informed me they wanted £30 to return the device, which I begrudgingly paid after reading the terms and conditions on their site in detail. They twice "forgot" to send me the item back after I paid the £30 - and after asking them for my £30 back was told they couldn't despite the inconvenience it had caused me.
Asked about the complaints process and left my details for a team leader to call me back (who never did).
