For decades, I had happily used my local Iceland store. That was until one day, not too long ago, when its manager saw fit to falsely accuse me of committing an act of theft. Curiously, no efforts were made by this individual in reporting the alleged "offence" to the police. Nevertheless, he appeared happy to gloat that he had published my photograph (although I do not know to where), labelling it as that of a thief. The search for some form of redress from the company on account of this mistreatment has, at least so far, hardly been a experience which might be described in positive terms.
