Wanted to order a television from John Lewis, but there was no online stock. When I telephoned to enquire if any stores had the product, I was told this was an old model which had been discontinued. The associate checked all stores for stock, but without luck.
The following day a stock notification showed that there was 1 unit in stock, so I called the online order line who were very helpful in reserving this item while the order was processed.
