I bought some curtains and blinds from John Lewis for my new house. I'd always ever rented before now and had no idea on how to choose curtains/blinds in terms of type and size...the John Lewis staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and thanks to them I now have perfect fitting blinds and curtains in my lovely new home.
