I bought 4 watches on Jomashop. The watches arrived in good condition and are of high quality. Certainly the prices are hard to beat. However, in one case the watch was shipped late, and it took about 3 weeks to arrive. I had to call a few times.
The second case proved more disappointing and complicated. First, Jomashop needs to make it clear whether a watch is in stock. I thought it was, but as it happened it wasn't. I had to wait 2 weeks for Jomashop to inform me that the company ordered it. They let me know it would take ANOTHER 2 weeks for them to receive it. Total waiting time before shipment: 1 month. If that wasn't enough, Jomashop claimed that my credit card had been declined, which turned out to be false. According to my bank statement, the company indeed charged me, which I told a Jomashop representative. Still, the order didn't go through, and the head of the financial department wasn't particularly helpful on that score. So my bank conducted an investigation and, fortunately, my money was returned. My sense is that while Jomashop offers some fine products at excellent prices, a buyer is probably taking a risk. I've certainly been fortunate insofar as none of my watches turned out defective. Jomashop has acquired a reputation for poor service and for not assuming responsibility when products prove unsatisfactory. Maybe I was just lucky in having no complaints about the products themselves.
