After purchasing 100 bottles, I am fed up with the Poor Customer Service; Slow Customer Service; and Greedy "Solutions" Offered by Jomashop
Ok, this is a review of Jomashop’s Customer Service, Slow Response, and poor Customer Service solutions. I buy from Jomashop quite often, I believe more than most. I believe I am right at 100 bottles in a little over a year. I buy mostly Niche Frags, some Dup/clone brands, and some designer. Three times now Joma has sent me “used” frags when I ordered new frags (Tester & Retail) bottles. Once they sent a leaking bottle of Xerjoff Erba Pura, which was my first issue and one of my first purchases of a relatively expensive Niche bottle. They did right by me on that issue and I wrote a good review. Now in September 2023, they sent a tester that was supposed to be new, which was not and it was missing 7-10 mls, which is still unresolved. I have called about it, at least 5 times, plus emailed them pics and responded to a follow up email after about 3 weeks.. They offered me $15 back, I declined. I asked for a better solution. It should be simple, take sale price of item, divide it by the costs of that item paid by the customer, to get costs per ml—then give customer the dollar equivalent of the mls missing (approximately)…that is fair. That was Chanel Men's Allure Homme Edition Blanche EDT, which is rare.
Then I ordered Arabian Oud Men's Al Fareed EDP in November 2023, and it came new, but with no atomizer under the top. I specifically requested that they check to be sure it was in stock, so that it could be shipped right out because I was afraid it would go out of stock. It would have been a better solution to go ahead and ship my replacement right out the same day, to preclude said problem. They already had my money and I did not cause the issue. They assured me it would not, but by the time they received and processed the return it WAS OUT OF STOCK! I sent it back December 5, 2023. I just ordered the replacement today, as it appears to have come back in stock almost 5 months and 12 days later!
Most recently April 18, 2024, I ordered Clive Christian Noble Collection XXI Art Deco Amberwood Parfum new for $249. It came a few days later, April 22, 2024, but was used, missing about 5 - 7 mls. The same day, I both called them and responded to their email request for pictures with the pictures. I also take videos of myself opening every package because I do not want any of that accusation of trying to rip them off. I offered to send the videos, because the email they send can only attach pics of up to a certain mb. After about 4 or 5 weeks, and about 5 phone calls, they didn’t let me know, but issued a “return authorization.” Now one would think that would be important for the customer to know. I called back today. I explained that I did not want a refund, but give me a reasonable amount of money back ( total mls / by cost = X, then multiply X by # of missing mls = $ refund to customer). Again, I explained that (1) The item was now reduced to $224; (2) This has been a 4, almost 5-week issue, terribly unprofessional and inefficient; (3) I did not want the item to be out of stock because I planned on wearing it to several big events in the coming two weeks and it was showing 2 - 4 weeks before shipment; and (4) I would take a reasonable refund and live with the missing mls. This time the young lady called me back within 15 mins, as promised…they offered me $20. Ridiculous.
I find Jomashop to be ridiculous, unreasonable, greedy, disloyal to loyal customers; unprofessional and poor business persons/company. I want to be valued, as a customer, and would argue that with the amount of money I have spent with this company they should be professional and reasonable in resolving 5 issues, not of the customers’ causation, a do so in a timely fashion. I am tired of the nonsense. I have had issues with 5 out of literally 100 bottles. That said, it is a relatively small portion of my purchases, but they have handled that small portion pathetically and with impunity. I would advise anyone reading this review to shop elsewhere like Fragrancebuy.ca.
