As a new parent, I was extremely worried to travel long haul (16 hrs) alone with my 18mo son. I could not be happier with the purchase, my son slept like a hibernating turtle on the plane. I could also use it in the lounge/restaurant chair when we were on transit. I love the fact that I can put things in the compartment which saved me carry-on space.
