Yesterday I visited my local River Island branch at Brentcross. I had gone to fitting room to try a top and came out asking for assitance, stood out for 5-8 mins no one there. Eventually I saw a lady and called her out "excuse me" few times she did not hear me so I said "hello madam excuse me" she addressed me why you saying hello - I explained I did earlier say excuse me" I found her rude. Anyway cut long story short. I had a grey polo neck size 10 which I felt was big so I had asked her to check if they have size 8 in stock. she goes to the shop area comes back and informs me will check in the store and informs me size not available to check online. So I return back to changing room and return her the Polo neck size 10 and again I am asked was this not any good. Same lady I have asked her to check for me size 8 asking me if it was any good! When I was leaving the store I passed by where the same polo necks were around and guess what there was a size 8 available. So where did this staff look? by then I was pissed off and decided I could not be bothered to go back in changing room to try. You need to have staff that have Customer care values. You have lost customer who was interested in buying your product due to bad customer care did not purchase.
