DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
Be warned! We stupidly purchased a sofa from sofology, without reading the reviews. Ordered in August with delivery expected in early November. Paid our deposit & walked out of the Cambridge store excited. Received a message at the end of October stating our sofa was ready to be delivered (great). We booked our delivery for Monday 1st November & paid the balance for our sofa as requested. Received a message on 31/10 saying the sofa would be with us between 10.45-2.45 (brilliant). Took the day off work, moved out the old furniture & waited……& waited……& waited! Got a phone call just after midday to say our sofa wasn’t coming!!! WHAT? Apparently it hadn’t arrived at the warehouse in Rugby yet (right, then why get us to book a delivery & pay in full)? No idea when it was coming but should be a few days at worst, but was promised a follow up phone call. It never came, we tried to call customer service (seriously don’t waste your time)! Waited on hold for 2 hours only to be cut off, twice. Gave up & took the 1 hour round trip into the Ipswich store (who were really helpful by the way). Insisted on a refund as all confidence was lost & had no trust that ‘Sodogily’ would ever deliver. The staff in store were great & organised a full refund within days. Now have no sofa in time for Christmas & have had to order another one from John Lewis, who we can trust. However we will have to wait until February now until we have a sofa, so disappointing but important lesson learnt. Do your research before you hand over your hard earned cash! Sofology should not be allowed to trade!
