My son bought a corner sofa costing over £2000 pounds. Within 6 months of it being delivered the back of the sofa broke, so they can’t use that side at all. He emailed about and someone did come out to look at it. He asked what happened and I explained that my son didn’t know, he sat back on it and it broke, he said he would fix it but I couldn’t wait around the 2 hours he said it would take so he said he would email my son with another date. My son received an email saying they were not responsible for the repair as it was accidental damage and to contact his insurance, why should anyones home insurance cover Sofology’s mistakes!!. Anyway this happened in September and still no further forward with the situation. I contacted consumer rights and they’re helping with my case, I will take it to a small claims if I don’t get it resolved, money saving expert have great advice and if you haven’t already then look up the consumer rights act 2015.
