DO NOT BUY FROM HERE !!!
I bought 2 leather 2-seater sofas 15 months ago at a cost of £2000. I first complained about the quality of the foam within a month of receiving them & stated that the sofas you receive are nothing like the showroom models. They finally sent a technician out on Wednesday to examine them. Nice enough bloke but I soon realised we was working to a well rehearsed script. He took photographs outside & then internally. He told me that we had to keep changing seats when I pointed out lumps & sinking of the foam (we have actually swapped the sofas over). I told him this was a load of rubbish and that I have been buying sofas since well before he was born. I pointed to a leather chair I have bought ( not from Sofology) & asked him what you did about that. His reply was "Well, chairs are different to sofas ". Even at my age it seems you learn something different every day !!!.
I also asked him to compare the foam & he said that the foam in the chair probably had less air in the foam.
I could tell he just wanted to get away. He was so fast that he managed to leave about 30 metal staples scatterd over the carpet.
He said that I would hear from them within 24-48 hours. Within half an hour I received e-mail :-
Following your recent visit from our service technician, we have now received the technical report confirming that the issue with your furniture has been resolved. We hope this means you are now feeling at home on a sofa you love. (NO. WE HATE THEM)
We will therefore consider this matter closed. It has been our pleasure to help and we hope to have met or exceeded your expectations.
With regard to the chair, I was a bit unhappy with the foam in the seat but it was nothing like the Sofology fault. I e-mailed the company last Thursday & the upholsterer came yesterday & put new foam in.
I have told sofology that I am not at all happy & that I am sending a file listing loads of comments like mine from this & other sites to BBC Watchdog & The Daily Mail. I don`t suppose that will bother them one little bit though as they already think that they are more powerful than the BBC.
Anyway, as my wife says she cant`t live with the sofas any longer, we are having to buy new. I suppose Sofology would think that 15 months use for £2000 is great value for money.
They lie, cheat & steal your hard earned money !!!!!!.
