I bought 5 pairs of the item specified below, approximately 3 months ago. I have never worn them with shoes, or outside - they have only been worn inside as “house socks.” They have been washed according to directions. 4 of the 5 pairs developed massive holes in them, to the point that they are no longer wearable and had to be recycled. I’m sure the 5th pair is well on its way to the same fate. I understand that 100% wool doesn’t wear the same as synthetics, but this is absurd, especially for a pair of socks that costs $35.
