I bought Whirlpool top loader model WTW4950HW3 in April 2023. In May 2024 it stopped working. The repair company explained it would cost so much to repair that I'd be better off buying a new machine. I emailed Whirlpool and was directed to use chat. From chat I was directed to rep on how to buy a new machine. I explained wanting help with repairs and was told it was the wrong department and to wait a moment. I waited and finally put my telephone number in for contact. I had no response. Thirteen months after Whirlpool purchase I had to buy a new machine. It is not a Whirlpool and I hope it will last at least 5 years! I'm so disappointed. I bought Whirlpool trusting the brand.
