We bought a sofa bed for a spare room and it's only ben used sparingly as a sofa but quite a few times for relatives, most recently for our small granddaughters who are perfectly happy jumping around on it (along with sometimes deciding to sleep too). The pull out mechanism is easy to use as well. It still looks good.
