I understand Wizzair has had a lot of bad press due to COVID19.. BUT.. I actually had no problems acquiring a refund from them.
Our flight cost was only small (£81), so I expect it was easier to process what with it being such a small sum.
I am currently chasing multiple companies for 3 holidays I had booked for this summer, the other companies have been appalling and I am yet to receive any real correspondence, or refunds.
I'm aware that I'm one of the very few that will be giving 5-star reviews for this company, but based on my own experience I wanted to let others know that they have helped me, and hopefully will refund you all asap..
Best of luck to everyone trying to get their money back for their holidays, I'm still battling these other b*st*rds for refunds elsewhere!!
Try Revolve.com or your bank/credit card supplier may be able to conduct a section 75 or chargeback!!
