I had a German accountant but the level of service and accuracy did not reflect in the fees they charged. I looked around at the different online packages available. I gave all of them a test ride.
Accountable for me still has some flaws (as do all the others) but is an excellent package to be in charge of your own accounts.
The FAQs, the online chat are all very helpful to navigate the German Tax system. I am also saving a considerable amount of money in fees.
