Signed on with them 1 year ago, Oct. ‘23, paid my money (1/2 price special at the time $799.) They designed my cover and got my book published on Amazon OK. But in my package I was to receive 25 paper back books. One year later, no books. Sent them emails and more emails. First women said they were printed, ink was bad, so they had to trash them. NO BOOKS! 2nd woman said, she understood my frustration, books would be at my door by the end of August. NO BOOKS! Then a couple weeks later, she texted they couldn’t print 25 books, because printing costs went up. They’d have to print less…not my problem!! If they printed them in a timely matter, cost wouldn’t have gone up. I said you owe me 25 books. Then after another few emails I suggested they reimburse me $10 per book, $250 and we’d call it good. I would still lose money, but just wanted to have this over. A few days later they replied yes, we’ll reimburse $250. Send us your bank info for wire transfer, it would take up to 14 days. Well, now over three weeks later…NO MONEY was returned. I cannot believe this company, who did a good job getting my book published would scam me in the end. DO NOT USE this company, unless you have money to throw away. It sickens me that AMERICAN AUTHOR HOUSE would not fulfill their commitment. Shame on them! How do they stay in business???
