I love that this is an American business with American made products. As someone who majored in sustainability and cares deeply about planetary protection from climate catastrophe, I appreciate having high quality buttons while also knowing that I'm supporting jobs in my country and limiting the carbon footprint of the buttons and magnets I make. I could probably find them cheaper from companies in foreign countries (like Alibaba), but that wouldn't be very solarpunk of me 😅. Plus, why change my material source when I haven't had a single issue in the 5+ years I've been buying from ABM? Out of the order of a thousand button sets, I only had 2 pinbacks that were missing the pin part. I save all of the buttons that I mess up to salvage parts for when something like that happens, but I've only had to do that for like 3 or 4 buttons (2 of them being from one of my latest and largest order) out of all my orders from over the last 5 years. As far as I'm concerned, there isn't another button supply business I would even consider buying from!
