Just what a newbie to Bali needs to know! We were very happy with all the airport info provided, especially when it was updated by other readers, eg the old farts lane in immigration now being on the left. We had two drivers over 3 days, the peripatetic Gede, who had a lot of fingers in a lot of pies, and the equally knowledgeable and smiling Dendong. They didn't just ask where we wanted to go, they also made helpful suggestions, much as a guide would do. And when they left us to do our own thing, we were able to agree where and when we would meet up. Hint: a local sim enabling local calls was a real help. Above everything, Gede and Dendong were very safe, dealing with the madness that is Bali traffic with competence and good humour. The icing on the cake was when I checked the prices being offered by the hotel. Michael's prices were quite a bit lower, which made me feel even better.
