I ordered a 120cm floating shelf, which was delivered promptly. However, it was quite heavy and only supplied with two of the fixing rod. The rods are made of 10mm round steel and are attached to the wall via wall plugs after drilling a 10mm hole. They were straightforward to fit, but when the shelf was fitted the holes pre-drilled in the wood when manufactured were a little too large so the shelf moved about on the fitting rods. This, combined with just two fittings and the weight of the wood means that my shelf sags downwards instead of being level. There is little I can do about this other than drill two more holes at a slight upward angle to compensate for the downward sagging, but I will then have to repair the existing holes. I would recomend an additonal fixing rod for this length.
