We bought a Bodum Bistro burr coffee grinder (model 10903) some years ago. All was great until a couple of years ago when the outer rubberized material on the machine's body and the lid started to get quite tacky/sticky. The grinder works fine otherwise. The "stickiness" problem started at least two years ago, but it seems to only be getting worse with time. The rubberized material appears to be degrading/disintegrating (oxidation?). The grinder is not stored in a warm environment. We have tried cleaning the outside with mild soap and warm water on a few occasions, but that hasn't solved our problem. Contacted Bodum customer service a week a go looking for suggestions on how to mitigate or fix this problem ... no response.
