After a prolonged stay in customs, I was greeted with the charming status of “payment required.” When I reached out, the employee informed me that I needed to prove it was a gift—despite the declaration clearly stating so. Apparently, they have a strict “don’t bother reading” policy. After sending a picture of the very same declaration they ignored, it was finally accepted. Bravo, BPost!
