Track day 23 October at Lichfield circuit unfortunately cancelled early as a nearby river burst its banks and flooded the paddock. Got to drive a Ferrari California which was really amazing with paddle gearshift, especially overtaking the slower cars with younger drivers. My instructor was really good and told me just enough to enjoy the drive and I felt confident driving such a powerful car. My 4 grown up sons videoed my drive and cheered me on, seeing me overtaking the other cars. Great fun. Car Chase Heroes did their best and all the staff were polite and friendly, whilst having to deal with a difficult situation. Many thanks Car Chase Heroes, looking forward to my other 2 drives next year!
