The products were as good as ever, the rest leaves much to to be desired. I called for help to return one item, it was too small, so I called to ensure I was doing the right thing with the return and the refund to my payment card. This is where the nonsense started, I spoke with a telephone advisor who somehow managed to mess it up way better than I ever could have managed on my own. I wish I hadn't bothered asking for advice... The advisor sent me a QR code that was NOT for the shop she said to go to. People in the shop were baffled and so was I. I returned home and called back to tell them what happened. I got the same advisor told her I wasn't happy being sent on a wild goose chase and would appreciate this time she gets it correct. That went as it should so, I waited on my refund as I'd put an explanation note inside the parcel and I had told the advisor that same thing; ie. I want a full refund to my payment card. The refund never happened so I was left wondering why? 4/5 days pass still no refund. I then get a text telling of a delivery from the same courier, advising of arrival later that day. I couldn't believe it they had sent the item back to me. So, I refused to accept the item and then days later I eventually get my refund. 9/10 days waiting on refund after I told them TWICE to refund to card. NOT GOOD. This situation has come about because Christy's have now OUT-sourced contact AND delivery to an Asian company. This is happening more and more in the U.K. these days in an attempt to maximise profits. It's 100% A FALSE ECONOMY because this makes lifelong customers like myself, who love the products, left with a choice to make. But NOT this service from thousands of miles away who can misinterpret things too easily. This causes many issues and none of them are pleasant or productive. I will NOT be ordering anything from Christy's until they change it back to U.K. based telephone advisors, and I'm 100% not racist, we are all human, we all deserve respect and the right to live the way we want. I noticed that my bank Halifax did the same thing years back, they have now reverted back to U.K. based advisors. They saw that their customers didn't like it and I'm sure I will not be the only one thinking in this way. Goodbye Christy's (until you see sense)
