I think this is a brilliant idea! I used clipless shoes and pedals before and sometimes flat pedals with fat foot straps as used by single-speed riders, which were much more comfortable than stiff clipless shoes, but with such pedals, the bike looked ugly. When I was actually looking for some good foot straps on the internet I happened to find the Clix pedal adapter and I knew right away that it was the best of both worlds - on the bike I kept the minimalist elegance of my Crankbrothers Eggbeaters and on the other hand I got the comfort and commotion of the FiveTen shoes in combined with Clix pedal adapter which is very similar to fat straps. In addition, I should point out that ClipClap's customer care is at a top level. I had some minor technical difficulties with one adapter, which had some factory error that produced squeaky sounds during the pedal stroke, and they sent me a new pair of adapters without any problems, which I did not expect. To be praised. I suggest to anyone who does not want to give up the feeling of clipped-in riding but cannot get used to clipless shoes or feels a certain discomfort to try the Clix pedal adapter.
