This recent purchase was a graduation gift for a friend, who at nearly 40 years old will be leaving behind gigs and bartending for a career as a teacher and this gift was an acknowledgment of all of the changes he has made and effort he has put in. He still appreciated the gesture and as he doesn’t own an older day owl, didn’t not know of the change in material. I however was disappointed.
