Before the purchase I was in a serious debate in purchase between T4 and a compact Sony full frame. Even during the wait after the purchase I wasn`t sure if I made the right choice. But after I received the camera and tested it out, it was clear I not only made the right choice but the BEST choice. For me, a RAW is a RAW. Of course there are special moments when I shoot in RAW. But it's the JPEG that differentiates this camera from other brands and even from it's own family of Fuji's. Color chrome effects are astonishing and no doubt that film simulations are the greatest value Fujifilm offers with their camera gear. I don't want to be a machine taking emotionless pictures. And XT4 is helping me stay away from being one. I love the moment of silence with my eyes on the eyecup and patiently and cautiously waiting for the right moment to release my shutter. It's truly an artistic experience.
