Having bought several previous versions of the Merrell glove, I found the Glove 6 tighter around the middle of the foot - I was aware of this from an online review and also the debate about size. I bought a size 8 as I previously had rather than a half size bigger as widely recommended. It was the right choice. The arch support was quite obtrusive at first but within half an hour I no longer noticed it. The return to a thicker sole than my previous version of the Glove is very welcome - the last version I found too thin and wore quickly.
