First time using esim for data abroad. Previously used network and paid £5 pd for usa. Bought a £12 fixed price 5gb esim for Florida. Worked great as used ATT and T-Mobile networks there so same as would have been if i paid to use my network data but hugely cheaper. I used it for Satnav directions in my phone as well as ordering food, general browsing etc.
Will definitely be using esims for future travel.
Ps really easy to install and to use ( i have an iPhone 13)
