In all of my customer service experiences we have never dealt with anything like our experience with Eddie Bauer. We placed an order early June for a birthday gift needed mid July .... after multiple follow up and different explanations from different agents, we finally spoke to an agent on July 2nd who acknowledged that the order was never going to ship, that we needed to cancel and place a new order which he would expedite. After 9 days, and multiple calls, that order too has not shipped. Follow up calls have netted the same results as the first order, different stories from different agents. One stated it was expedited and it would come by Friday, the next agent says no, it's not expedited. We asked for a Supervisor, the agent said they would call back in 10 minutes, after no call back, we called again and were told 24 hours for a supervisor call back. To make the entire situation worse, Veronica, the agent who took that call raised her voice, refused to listen to the our story then pretended she couldn't hear us and hung up the call. THIS IS THE WORST CX we have ever had in retail. I'm certain EB will not care about this statement, but they have lost a very loyal EB customer. Our only reason for leaving this review is our hope that it impacts someone's decision to buy from Eddie Bauer.
