With an industry fixated on the CV, not the human behind it, I was surprised to come across Elbo (a former college had suggested I take a look), and its unique way of looking at recruitment with you as a person rather than simply a sum of experience. I also found it enlightening going through the character test, as I ended up learning things about myself in the process, with the added bonus of allowing me to present myself as more than just work experience and education to potential employers. In regards to the app, it’s easy to use, looks goods, and ultimately the process of getting into a role was far simpler than I had honestly expected it to be, so thanks Elbo, Great concept, a true disrupter in a stagnant industry.
