Avoid at all costs. My 79 year old mother who is isolating and recovering from heart surgery. These cowboys threaten to take her to court over an unpaid bill. The last tenant paid their bill before they left. There was a months gap due to COVID before the new tenants arrived. The bill for this period was over £700, the meter readings clearly we’re wrong. My mom explained that she has never held an account with them, nobody was living there and it’s impossible to have such a large bill. The call handler told my mom the only way to avoid court action was to pay up. My mom calls me in tears and was going to break restrictions and go to the bank. I told her to call them back and ask to speak to a manager. In the meantime they issue a final notice email with the threat of court action. My Mom lodges a complaint and two sleepless nights later she revived an email saying the issue is resolved. No apology, no explanation of how they obtained her name. I’m on it now. The rest of the over 55 community in my moms complex have been warned. This was disgraceful and shameless intimidation of a vulnerable pensioner. Energy Ombudsman is next, then Martin Lewis, why should this company be in any switch site? Oliver Peiffer you should be ashamed
