I’d like to pass on my thanks for the service your company provided in specifying and supplying the motors, controls and safety additions for my electric gate system. I was particularly impressed with the knowledge, honesty and sage advice provided by Craig McLaughlin from initial enquiry and throughout my install and operation. I had contacted several companies prior to reaching out to NVF. Some never got back to me at all and other responses ranged from 'cannot be done' to eyewatering estimates, loaded with caveats and apparent obstacles. By contrast, Craig listened to my requirements and provided honest advice and recommendations. Most notably, he advised that whilst NVF could install the system, the distance and travel time to my location would mean his team having to be accommodated in my area for the duration of the job, which would add to the cost. However, Craig suggested that I could employ local tradesmen to conduct the work or do so myself, for which he would provide technical advice as required. I opted for the latter option, which also gave me flexibility to install the automation system in conjunction with other works, which required Listed Building Consent, etc. The equipment, as specified, was delivered swiftly and efficiently but delays and difficulties at my end, due to staging of works, LBC compliance, etc. meant that installation was spread out over a long period. Craig remained on hand to provide telephone support and excellent technical advice throughout, which was always delivered with patience, diligence and accuracy and, as it seemed that we got to know each other through several telephone engagements, some very well-placed witty banter. Craig’s technical knowledge is surpassed only by his client-facing aptitude and he is a credit to your company. Thanks to his recommendations and advice, my gates are still surviving the hostile environment of the West Coast of Scotland. It's refreshing to know that such conscienscious and impressive service can still be found - not just at point of sale but in aftercare too, and I’d have no hesitation in recommending your company to others.
