Not as simple to build as I think it was based on advertising. Though there were a few times were I could have done the wrong thing or wished there was a guide hole, I managed to not screw it up. Though it seems sturdy, the quality and manufacturing of the wood has high tolerances and variances - meaning they did not fit together well - though they did all fit together. Given the pricing and quality offered by competitors I most likely will not take another chance on a Laid bed.
