I've been following Somedays on Instagram for a while now but never seemed to commit to buying any products. I've always suffered from dysmenorrhea ever since I first got my period at 12. For as long as I can remember I've taken 800mg of Ibuprofen at the start of my period because the cramps were so debilitating that I would throw up and almost pass out if I didn't take any medication or if I was somewhere where I didn't have access to it. I remember taking hydrocodone once because I was away from home, and it was the only painkiller my aunt had from a previous surgery and even that didn't seem to do the trick. My period revolved around if I had ibuprofen or not which was very stressful and I felt like my kidneys would ache when I took too much. I'm not anti-pharmaceuticals but I did not want to spend the rest of my life bound to my Motrin bottle. My friend recommended Somedays but I was super critical, especially because she didn't suffer with period cramps as I did. I also read the ingredients and didn't think an herbal concoction would be strong enough to relieve the crippling pain I experienced. I impulsively bought the Cramp Cream with little hope that it would work. I can now say that this was the first period in over ten years that I was able to take ZERO ibuprofen. I don't know how it works or why!! but it worked for me. On the first day of my period (the worst day) I had to reapply every couple of hours but that was it! It took my worst cramps from a 10 to a 2-3 which was so manageable for me. Even using it as supplemental pain relief is so helpful. I'll forever repurchase this product and recommend it to everyone who suffers from period pain. I can't wait to try the other products. Thank you for creating this!!
