I needed to go up a size as my usual size 38 (size 5 uk) ordered was slightly too short but size 39 (size 6 uk)is too big without wearing thick socks. I’ve kept size 39 however as bought for winter wearing and needed an arch supporting slipper.
I would have preferred a half size bigger eg size 38.5 or 5.5 uk.
