Die Sohlen der Hausschuhe sind leider sehr hart und auch sehr laut beim Laufen. Dies ist ein klarer Nachteil. Man läuft lauter als mit Straßenschuhen. Ansonsten sind die Hausschuhe angenehm zu tragen. Es wäre aber besser, wenn der obere Rand elastisch wäre, dann könnte man leichter reinschlüpfen und müsste nicht immer den Kordelzug festziehen und beim Ausziehen wieder öffnen. Schuhe fallen klein aus; man braucht eine Größe größer als normal.
