The Giesswein slippers are very light and comfortable. I'm not sure how durable they will be. My feet are warm and the soles have some grip to them. I should really write this review in 3 months to let you know how they withstand all the paces I put them through. For now, they are an adequaate replacement for a beloved pair of boiled wool, hand-made slippers that I wore for years.
