I bought some oak veneered ply and some poplar ply. Clear info on stock and pick up availability and product was there when I arrived. Oak was great. One issue: I originally ordered Birch ply however, I was advised that the stock they had was 'not good' and that the poplar was a good alternative - I followed the advice, however, poplar, apart from being ply and quite light, is in no way a replacement for birch: it will not sand to a smooth finish, it sucks up stain and oil like a very dry sponge and it warps. I finished my intended product I will likely do it again with some birch.
