I just replaced a air filter that has been installed for about 5,000 miles. It was pretty dirty on the outside however the inside was immaculate. I really like the performance of the filter itself. But the “air box” that the filter sits in has many flaws. It’s made with very thin metal that bends and doesn’t make a good seal. The top screws are plastic and don’t hold the top on very well. It also rattles very bad. I have a 2019 L5P with the hood scoop. When you shut the hood it bends the air box and doesn’t make a good deal between the hood scoop to air box. To fix this issue is going to take some work.
