I had laser eye surgery at Optegra Solent in August 2015 with Mr Anderson. I had been considering this treatment for some time and finally plucked up the courage. I went to one of their Open Evenings and had a look around the hospital. I booked a free consultation a couple of weeks later. At no time did anyone phone or email me, I was left to make the decision in my own time whether or not to proceed. It was agreed that I would benefit from having mono vision - not everyone is suitable for this - and I was advised to trial it using a contact lens which I had prescribed by Mr Anderson and dispensed by my optician. A few weeks later I had the surgery. It was pain-free, during and after. The staff were incredible and the follow-up care is superb. I now have better than 20/20 vision and don't need glasses after 37 years of being short-sighted. My only regret is that I didn't have this done years ago - it has transformed my life.
